Econojet-II - Making inkjet affordable

Economical Inkjet marking

The Econojet-II has just been released in Australia to offer manufacturers the most affordable inkjet marking on the market. This puts non-contact inkjet marking into the reach of small businesses who only need a simple, "workhorse" coder for for date coding, printing use by or best before dates, lot numbers or batch codes. It also means manufacturers with multiple lines no longer have to stop their main line inkjet coder to print a short production run on another line - an economical second coder is available!!

MagicPin budget dot-peen system

Trend Marking Systems has released a series of budget dot-peen marking systems known as MagicPin.

4700 Ink released

The new 4700 ink has been released for the EVOLUTION-1 inkjet systems, featuring a dry-time of 1-3 seconds on materials such as metal and plastic.

This ink lets this sub-2K printer handle applications traditionally reserved for expensive continuous inkjet printers (CIJ) while reducing consumable cost and maintenance.

Printing Glass Bases

Trend's Hot QuickCoder was successful in providing a solution to print on the base of glass jars with a use-by date.

The application is manual - an operator loading the jars into a basic jig - with the HQC unit printing from underneath on the slightly domed base with a white colour.
