Customer required batch-coding of brown glass beer bottles. Specialty/Boutique brewery, therefore budget not extending to a more expensive inkjet printing system.

Bottles can only marked lengthways down the side. Bottles vary in diameter between 60.5 & 61.5mm. The surface area of these bottles is uneven because of the glass-blowing process - therefore we were required to compensate during coding by increasing the printing pressure - resulting in "bolder" prints & losing some sharpness but improving the reliability of the coding.
